🎉 Taking Literature to the Next Dimension!

On March 18 and 19, 2025, 19 student teachers embarked on an epic VR adventure during a Digital Literature tutorial for their Children’s Literature course.

The mission? To immerse themselves into stories like never before and explore how VR can ignite a love for reading in children! Here’s a sneak peek at their thrilling journey:
🐭 Leaping over obstacles & facing spiders in Moss
🌀 Solving mind-bending puzzles in an underground cave with Down the Rabbit Hole
🌊 Kayaking through icy wonders in National Geographic VR
🐢 Swimming alongside green turtles in Jungle Animals Discovery
🔑 Solving mysteries in the hauntingly beautiful world of The Key
🏠 Stepping into history in Anne Frank House VR

This hands-on experience showed the incredible potential of immersive storytelling in education.

Posted from @niegpl In 2016, NIE hosted an exhibition of works by Dr. Iskandar Jalil, Singapore’s renowned ceramic artist. 🌏🎨 His masterpieces blended traditional and contemporary styles, reflecting global pottery influences and Singapore’s cultural heritage.

Fun fact: The pottery was digitally preserved using 3D scanning and high-resolution imaging to create lifelike virtual models! 🖥️✨
