Library Orientation 2019


New Undergraduates Attend Orientation Workshop

The new intake of undergraduate students attended a library orientation workshop on 18th July 2019. Through the hour-long hands-on sessions, students learned about the various library information systems, and how to access the variety of resources relevant to their courses.

 

Orientation Workshop - Diploma and PGDE (PE)

New students in the Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Physical Education) programmes engaged in hands-on activities during the library workshop on 31 July 2019.

Besides familiarising themselves with various library information platforms, resources and services, students also learn how to install tools such as the Library bookmarklet to retrieve full articles online.

 

Orientation Briefing - TLP

Participants of the 10-week Teacher Leaders Programme (TLP) joined us for a quick sharing session on 1 Jul 2019, to learn where they can get scholarly resources, access library services and book facilities.

 

Orientation Briefing - MLS Programme

Participants of the Management and Leadership in Schools (MLS) programme attended a library briefing on 15 July 2019, to find out about how to access course readings available in the library, services and facilities as part of their orientation.

 

Orientation Briefing - Diploma in Special Education Programme

New students from the Diploma in Special Education programme attended our library orientation briefing on 29 July 2019 to learn more about our resources, services, and how they can fully utilise their membership privileges.
