Three of NIE's journals are currently published by Routledge Education, which is part of the Taylor & Francis Group, an established academic publisher.

NIE Publications with Routledge Education

Asia Pacific Journal of Education focuses on educational leadership, policy, curriculum and pedagogy pertinent to the Asia-Pacific region. It features articles discussing various aspects of education policy and curriculum practices - how they have evolved to ensure education for sustainability in response to cultural and linguistic changes, as well as relevant issues in 21st century education. The journal, with an impact factor of 1.071 in 2018, is also included in the Social Sciences Citation Index in the Web of Science database.

Pedagogies: An International Journal offers an avenue for rich discussions on transformative innovations related to teaching and learning in both formal and informal settings. Articles published in this journal are based on current research covering all aspects and subject areas in education. The journal is currently indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index. This index in the Web of Science Core Collection contains "high-quality peer-reviewed publications of regional importance and in emerging research fields".

Learning: Research and Practice was launched in 2015 with the purpose of presenting cutting-edge research and explorations into new theories in teaching that improve upon traditional learning methods and educational practices. Issued twice a year, the journal is currently indexed in the Scopus database.

As part of NIE’s collaboration with Routledge Education, full-text articles from all published issues of the three journals are accessible via the Taylor & Francis (T&F) Online platform. This includes past issues of Asia Pacific Journal of Education (1996 - current), as well as all issues from 1978-1995 when it was known as the Singapore Journal of Education.
