Happening @ the Library

From welcoming new graduate students to inspiring future scholars and supporting publication, the Library has been abuzz with activity this semester.

Catch the highlights of some of the events below.

62 new graduate students visited the library on 15 August 2025 as part of the

NIE Graduate Student Club Orientation.

The library hosted 16 Junior College students as part of the Mentoring Programme organised by the Malay Language Division of the Asian Languages and Culture Department.

A workshop on writing for publication for doctoral students and early career researchers took place in the Research Commons on 5 September 2025. Jointly organised by the Policy, Curriculum and Leadership and the Humanities and Social Studies Education department, the session was conducted by Dr Peter Sutoris, Editor of COMPARE: A Journal of Comparative and International Education.
