CJ Koh Gallery @ NIE was officially opened by NIE Director Professor Liu Woon Chia and Mr Tan Hsuan Heng, Trustee of the Estate and nephew of Irene Tan Liang Kheng.

This newly curated gallery invites the NIE community to step into the life and legacy of Mr Koh, a man whose quiet generosity has left an indelible mark on Singapore’s educational landscape.

Through an exhibition of archival materials, reflective narratives, and visual storytelling, visitors are guided through a rich tapestry of history and hope. The gallery not only documents Mr Koh’s philanthropic contributions but also celebrates the ripple effect of his impact.

Find out how his contribution, alongside contributions from those he inspired, has funded NIE scholarships, initiatives, and a dedicated library collection that continues to nurture generations of educators and learners.

We invite you to visit the CJ Koh Gallery @ NIE located on Level 4 of the Library and discover a legacy that continues to shape minds and hearts.
