Wordsmiths Gather: Celebrating the Art of the Short Story

The 16th International Conference on the Short Story in English was co-organised by NIE and the Society for the Study of the Short Story in English, and it ran from 20 June 2023 to 24 June 2023.


15 readings by 45 published writers took place in various Library spaces between 21 June and 23 June 2023. A conference bookshop and pop-up café were also specially arranged for conference attendees on level 3.
